HEY, I’M JEANNE MICHEL

You might know me as the runner-up (First princess!) from Survivor South Africa: Philippines. When not cast away, you’ll find me producing the Cape’s biggest radio breakfast show: Kfm Mornings with Darren, Sherlin and Sibs.

My side-hustles include podcast producing, voice overs, being your event’s next MC or speaker and getting everyone on the dance floor as a wedding DJ.

ABOUT ME

I have worked with Primedia Broadcasting for close on 10 years, in many different roles, but the majority of that time as a Technical Producer for John Maytham on the Drive Show on CapeTalk and with Bruce Whitfield on the Money Show.

As a podcast producer, I have a passion for rich story telling. My strengths lie in making average audio sound dynamic.

Once a month I host a talk radio show on CapeTalk 567MW from 3am-6am on a Sunday.

In my spare time I am exceptionally proud to be a part of the Badgers Football Club. A club started by women for women.

I also serve on the board of SAVE TED-Ed Clubs which is an NGO that empowers youth to research and deliver a TEDTalks.

SURVIVOR

As a SURVIVOR superfan, I am so proud of making it to top 2 on the 2018 Season 6 of Survivor South Africa: Philippines.

People always ask if Survivor is as hard as it looks? It’s even HARDER than it looks, however; it was a life changing experience being part of a world-renowned season of Survivor and joining a select few who get to take part the world’s best social experiment.

It was a dream come true to get to play a game I love and for making it further than anyone (except me) thought I could. Please get in contact if you would like me to come and speak about my experiences LIVING MY DREAMS.

SOUND CONTENT

I have worked on a number of podcast projects including the most recent series which was hosted by Bruce Whitfield called Solutionist Thinking by RMB, The Human Library with LEADSA and HISTORY FOR THE FUTURE: Lessons from the TRC, which was presented by renowned South African journalist Pippa Green and was nominated for a Liberty Radio Award.
